Coming up on the end
Well it's almost the end of the semester and it seems like I'm always busy all of a sudden. I just got a job a couple weeks ago and if you throw that in with all the classes trying to get one last big project or something in before the end of the semester it seems like all my free time is going out the window. Also I have the most annoying cough in the world and it won't go away. I feel fine except I cannot stop coughing to save my life. It drives me crazy because I always have to stop whatever I'm doing to have a coughing fit and whenever I walk anywhere or do anything it always gets worse. On the bright side though they gave me a bottle of codeine to help me sleep and I found out that if you take 4 or 5 times more then it says to it actually works. Other then that I was at a party Friday night and that was a lot of fun so it's not like things are all that bad.

I'm not sure I've ever been so let down by a sports game. I am an huge Memphis fan and I have been since back when they lost the Conference USA championship to Louisville and as a result had to go to the NIT. I don't have another team I push for as much as Memphis and they were sooooo close to winning the first ever championship in school history. Why does it always have to come down to free throws (the Louisville game did too)? My senior year of high school I shot 72% and as a team they can't even match that. Anyway the key to this team getting back is if John Calipari comes back. Every year it seems like he flirts with some other job opportunity. But if he stays the team has a future. He almost always uses his NBA connections (he used to coach the Nets) as a selling point to bring big time recruits to a non-BCS conference school (like he did with Derrick Rose). If he leaves I'm not sure another coach can recreate that. As it stands now the team figures to lose 3 of its 5 starters, Joey Dorsey, Chris Douglas-Roberts, and Derrick Rose. If they keep the rest it will still be a decent team and will still make the NCAA Tournament next year. If they get both of the big recruits they are currently pursuing they could even be very good, the recruits are Tyreke Evans and Devin Ebanks. Until then I'll just have wait and sulk til next season.

Back again
Well break is sadly over and I have a job now. It's at harkins and I hate the work but its a job and I need the money. Plus I get free movies. Anyway I'm just trying to get myself together for the stretch run of the semester and get my grades up. Plus I'm dealing with a bit of an internal conflict of what kind of person I want to be. On one side I want to handle myself with a certain level of maturity that I feel like I should have by now. But then there's another part of me that whenever I'm behaving well for any period of time just starts to think that this is to boring and leads my to go on a party binge. So its like this battle between the part of me that wants to grow up and the part that just wants to party every day. So yeah...I don't know if that really makes sense or not but I've noticed that I go back and forth between those two things and thought it was interesting. Anyway I hope all is well with the rest of you.

Post 3
So I'm back again, and I have to say it was a pretty laid back weekend. I partied a bit on Saturday but I'll admit no where close to what I normally do. Also I started my job hunt this weekend cause I about as broke as I've ever been in my life. The jobs I applied for are a front desk position at a hotel on Milton, Harkins theaters, and a mystery shopper thing. So we'll see how that goes. If this doesn't work out I'll have to start selling myself...just kidding. Other then that I spent most of my time sleeping and watching sports. By the way I just want to add that the Duke North Carolina game was the hardest played game I've seen all season, even if Carolina did pull away right at the end.

Where's the adventure?
For my first real post I want to talk about something that I noticed a few days ago and thought "wow I can use that in my blog". My idea is that the world is a lot more boring then it was in the past because we know to much about it. Just imagine if we still lived in a world where if you went a few hundred miles in any direction how much more exciting the world would be. If there was more mystery in the world today and still vast blank spaces on the map I think the world would be a lot more fun. Everyone could be an explorer all you would need is the will to be one. These days the only real frontier is space, and that can only be explored that the select few NASA decides to hire. Anyway my point is that everyone thinks that the world is a better place because of all the technology we have, but maybe in some ways it's making life a little more bland.
Intro
The reason for creating this blog is for an engish assignment. For a subject I would like it to be mixed. Although I spend a lot of my time following sports so that is a subject that will find it's way into this a lot. However i'm not going to make this strictly a sports blog because I what the freedom to write about whatever I feel like at the time. It's a good idea for me to not have a set subject because in all honesty, my interests change from day to day. One day I only want to follow sports, the next I want to put more effort into doing well in school, then I go through a phase were I party five days a week, and then for some reason I want to act smart and read books. So I'm way to random of a person for my blog to only be about one thing. So that's basically the idea of it and I hope you like my blog.
